    Hiyah all . Please help i am after a person or company who does this in my area of Roscommon does anyone know of such a person or place near me. i would be must pleased to hear any thoughts

    As far as I know there are only a couple of people doing re chroming in Ireland and I think the cater mainly for motorbikes, but I could be wrong. There's a company in Bristol in England who, according to many experts here and the U.K., is the best in the business. Its worth checking out but I'm afraid I don't have any contact information.

    At my wedding a guest said his brother did chroming and would do some stuff on my car,bumbers etc. I think he said he worked in templeogue, which I think I heard mentioned here before that there was a chroming place around there, near knocklyon I think, anyway, I haven't contacted that guy since but can if anyone is interested.
    Actually I may get a price for my bumpers, do guinea pig, and see how they turn out.

    stay well clear of that crowd on the knocklyon orad... complete cowboys

    they tried to tell me our mk1 mini grill was stainless... come on, then chromed it but put no base nickel or copper on so the chrome rused through within 6 weeks.... to worse than before we stripped it... twits

    they do chrome alright, for those rails you see in shopping centres so not suitable for car parts

    avoid like the plague
