    Hi guys,

    I'm a bass player in Cavan, 5 years experience in the live arena, and I'm sick of what I'm doing now. (covers in an unprofessional environment)

    I'd go to Dublin for the sake of a new project if I could but it's not really possible at the moment. Are there any other resources for musicians looking for bands apart from this section of boards that I can scout? Cheers,

    Dunno, try buy and sell, maybe gigsmartireland.com or thumped.com forums.
    I don't envy your position, its hard enough to complete the line up in Dublin!!

    I've found the buy and sell good on one occasion in the past. I placed the ad and renewed it every week. I eventually met with a singer and got a band started. It fell apart after a year however .:(
