With the two All-Ireland finalists managers gone within 48 hours of each other albeit for two different reasons, it begs the question do Counties expect too much of managers are they becoming too results driven much like premiership except for far less or none of the wages. Will it get to the stage that being a manager of a county team will simply not be worth it?

It's a valid point. But the committment to retain managers seems to be evident even in counties that have had limited success. Look at Justin McCarthy's five years with Waterfords' hurlers.

While managing a county team is a responsible undertaking and apparently isn't a salaried position there still seems to be an eager amount of candidates everytime a position becomes available.Note the recent situation in Galway for instance.
