Now if all those going on this could pm me the following:

    - Full name
    - Mobile number
    - Email address

I'm not sure about asking for date of birth though it is a strictly over 18s event.

Oh and the boat trip idea is not part of this trip but if anyone wants to arrive early and do this that is fine.

Though no one can get into the castle til I arrive and collect the keys ;)

All sounds good. Will need that lift from Dublin though, could make it to same place as last time. So thanks to any generous person offering.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

Yep we'll have to sort out lifts.

So thats kshiel and 6th who need a lift ideally from the Tallaght area.

Who else needs a lift and who's offering?

Someone mentioned offering me a lift. Think it was Stoner. I'm good to go from the Tallaght area aswell actually. Tallaght or City Centre is fine with me.
    Much appreciated either way.

Stoner, could you take monkeyfudge, tj-music & dib from City Centre?

Steven, can you take me and kshiel from Tallaght, pretty please? - ladybird would you be travelling down with us too or are you driving?

Grimes you are going down early aren't you? If anyone wanted to go early would it be cool to try arrange something with you?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,165 ✭✭✭ladybirdirl

Am I driving, don't know yet is the honest answer - my little car is being a pain in the ass plus I don't want to go racing Stevenmu and Stoner and Grimes around Cavan. I'd only beat them and then they would be upset!;)

Let me get back to you on it(but I will let you know sooner rather than later)

    Ladybird

Has anyone put their brain forward to be a receiver on the sender/receiver experiment.?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

We'll be trying some direct sender-receiver stuff down there with each other. But i think if we pair up a person down there with a person not there then we could give that a go.

Grimes are we talking about maybe you ariving down at midnight?

Anyway people this is getting pretty close now and theres no time/need for a social drink before hand.

I've love to know what (if anything) people are bringing with them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,216 ✭✭✭✭monkeyfudge

Is 10 the max number of people?

One of my TV people expressed an interest in going last night

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

Ah thats currently under debate as I have a few more interested parties. The problem is that we dont want it over crowded as last time we had 8 and it was just "nice".

As soon as I read that I couldn't help thinking of a scene right out of a "Carry on" film.
On a serious and related not, if anyone has a first aid kit, it'd be handy for you guys, hopefully you'll never need it though.

    Enjoy the night!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,216 ✭✭✭✭monkeyfudge

I always bring a first aid kit along... and I always leave disappointed that I didn't get to use it...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,566 ✭✭✭Gillo

Would someone please do the decent thing and indulge monkeyfudge? even a little paper cut sustained while automatic writing will do.

The funny thing is I can't make it, even though it's the one weekend I have off work which is normally the prob, actually getting time to travel and stay overnight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

Cheers Gillo, If any firstaid is needed then we'll be sure to take pictures!

Anyway peoples its less than 2 weeks away and some people still havent sent me there details .... hurry up!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 994 ✭✭✭kshiel

I won't be bring a whole lot, just a camera, candles, black paper/cloth, powder or flour, a little brush to dust bedpost, the voice recorder and other essentials.

    Hows the lifts shaping up?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

I dont people need to bring much more than the basics ... last thing we want isbeeping and lioghts everywhere.

Are you stuck for a lift Kshiel, I can jam one more into the car if you want, I know that your not in Dublin but I'll be heading from there anyway

aslo I was just thinking, I'll be in Ross this Friday
Is there any opportunity here WRT leaving something there for a week or something, I can't think of anything myself but maybe someone has an idea on it.

Thanks Stoner, 6th says he has it sorted, as probally leaving from same place as him.

On Leaving something there, its a good idea, cannot think of anything just yet, but I imagine people will be staying there over the next week so it would have to be non expensive and small. I was thinking of some sort of trigger object but we could never be sure if someone moved it, so thats a bit silly. A Recorder (voice) would be taken more than likely but would be interesting if we could leave one there in one of the rooms if no one was in it, or the castle was empty that night.....maybe someone else has better ideas.?

Will yous take me with you, havenßt got a car or a drivers licence?? :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

You were sorted a couple of pages back tj - you'll be heading down from city centre with Gav, Stoner & dib.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

Unfortunately dib has had to pull out. He's done the decent thing and offer to pay his part anyway but if we can get someone else that would be great as I'd hate to charge for someone if they genuinely cant make it.

Also we will have another person there who is coming down having won a competition from the show Steven and I did last night ... crazy I know bbut no more crazy than going down with potential weirdos from the internet!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 994 ✭✭✭kshiel

Well are we going to know who the extra weirdo is, the more the merry I say and she/he will fit in well with the rest of the weirdo's going (except me of course) although I did go last time, only girl in the middle of all those boys and I knew no one, then again I may be weird after all. Welcome aboard to whom that may concern.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,246 ✭✭✭✭Riamfada

    Two Questions

    1) can i wear my halloween costume?

2)is this competition winner hot / easily offended . Becuase I wear a very offensive halloween costume.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

Please people a certain level of professionalism is expected ...... its not a Monica Louinsky outfit Grimes is it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,216 ✭✭✭✭monkeyfudge

If Grimes is allowed to bring a costume then I'm bringing a costume!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

ok the list for this trip is:

    6th + 1
    Stevenmu
    monkeyfudge
    Grimes
    Stoner
    kshiels
    ladybirdirl
    tj-music.com

so we need 2 more people for this - short notice but anyone know anyone who'd like to go?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 994 ✭✭✭kshiel

    What about monkeyfudge friend?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

He hasnt let me know yet if they can go.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 994 ✭✭✭kshiel

Hopefully someone will pop their head up but if its a case of just on the list, I dont mind if we have to pay that little bit extra, its worth it. or does your +1 have someone they can bring?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

No the deal with her is that she comes down on her own. She seems very nice, now all I have to do is get Grimes to behave ....... NO COSTUMES!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,952 ✭✭✭✭Stoner

    6th as discussed I have 1 x 100% and 1 x maybe

thanks again, If they mess up let it be on my head and you can have my new trifield EMF meter.
