I think this is the right forum, move if its not.

Anywhoo, I would like to know if its possible to FTP a file to my server and then seed it thorugh a torrent using its upload speed. Because my upload speed is terrible (25kb/s) and Its hard to get anything distributed fast.

Im talking legal torrents here just incase anybody is suspicious.

    Thanks for any help.

It can be done, as long as the server is running a Bittorrent client and registered with a tracker.

Mind you, whether your host will like it depends on your setup. If you are on shared hosting (many sites on the same server) it most likely will be heavily frowned upon. If you're on a dedicated server, it could be taken more lightly, but it could still be worth checking your T&Cs to be sure.

Yep it should be, Incase you have a firewall infront of the server you may need to open the port.
