Has anyone done either of these courses in Ashfield College in Templeogue, Dublin?

Considering doing one of them but i'm not sure which one.

Anybody have any feedback out there?

well one is cisco one is linux, What do you want to do them for ? is it for a future job ? or just something you have a interest in ?

Talk to the it department in the college on phone, or schedule a meeting with someone there to talk to you about it.

I've just started the CCNA course there last week. Its intensive stuff so you really have to have an interest in it.

The tutor is great and I what I've seen so far the lab equiptment is well up to date.

Its really up to yourself in regards to which course you want.

By the way , they've all started , so you'll have to wait until next year to get in there.

I've done a lot of courses in ashfield.

I've done courses with various companies in Ireland and no where comes close to Ashfield.

Excellent Facilities any tutors I've had were very technical and deliver the courses in a fun and interesting way.

As which one you should do depends on what where you want to go in your career and what you're genuinley interested in there's no point just doing it for the sake of having a cert.

It's simple if you're interested in networks do CCNA if you're interested in Linux do RH.

i'm interested in both but i think i would lean more towards the RH at the moment.

thanks for the tips ntlbell ;)

Why are you interested in them?

Do you plan to work with either red hat linux or cisco equipment?

I did the A+ course in ashfield and didn't think it was great. We had a switch in tutors and didn't get to do much hands on work. But I think the situation for myself and my class was a one off and its unlikely that others would be messed around like we were.

If your really interested in doing an exam I think you should home study for it. Its a lot cheaper and its much more flexible.
