Hi, so I have a fancy dress halloween party coming up at the end of the month (oddly enough) and I'm looking for ideas for a halloween costume. Whats the best halloween costume you've ever seen or even just thought up and haven't seen?

Off the top of my head you could try.......

a mime, a computer mouse, an atom, a smiley of your choice, a stop sign, an exit sign, a traffic cone, a hot air baloon, a pizza, some kos lettuce, a pyramid of ferrero rocher, a full irish breakfast........

there's countless ideas really, I think people appreciate something that's totally random and unexpected and just weird. Hope that helps a bit anyway.

    That sounds good.
    "Hi there, I'm a mime"
    "I thought mimes didn't talk"
"I'm not talking. I'm using a system of complex hand gestures to make you think I am"
    "Holy crap! That's amazing."

Nah I've nothing specific in mind, some of the ones on that Joke Shop link above are class but a bit expensive.

Argos do some in the latest catalogue but they are argos extra items - as in you have to order them.

Strap a sliced pan to your chest and another to your back, go as a sandwich. Also handy if you get peckish.

Where is this shop in Lucan?

When you cross the bridge from the village heading towards Laraghcon, just take the right turn towards the Strawberry Beds and its in one of the little industrial estates on the right.

Or at least it was, this time last year.

One of the best one's I've seen is a guy dressed as Angus Young from AC/DC. Complete with a Gibson SG.

pretty sure that there are definitely two in the city centre, one on D'Olier Street & the other is in one of the laneways off stephens green, beside the outdoor pursuits store, down from the coffe shops like busyfeet, cafe mocha, etc...I think there is also one in Clondalkin
