Saints Row help (spoilers)

I've come to a standstill in SR, with a mission and a stronghold just beyond my grasp.

The mission is the (final?) Rollerz one, where you have to chase Price in his car transporter and destroy him. I jacked a similar truck (freeliner?) and gave chase. After about 10 solid minutes of shooting, the trailer came away and blocked the entire road, so I lost him. This was the closest I've gotten - was I just unlucky and need to persevere or is this roadblock a given, and I need to prepare for it? Any other tips on quickly taking him down?

The stronghold is also a Rollerz one where you take what looks to be the carpark to a warehouse, hold it for 5 minutes or so against a few waves of gang members then 3 people turn up with rocket launchers. Death city. They seem to be rather difficult to kill and very accurate with their rockets. This one is starting to get frustrating, so any tips would be helpful.

All you need to do is get close to him and aim for the cars on the back of the transporter. They should go on fire and blow up easily from some SMG fire. When you get 4 of them (I think its 4) the trailer falls off and then you have to keep shooting the cab. When the trailer came off for me it just kept going straight so all I had to do was avoid it.

I took me three goes to get that mission because I kept getting caught beside the trailer and he'd destroy with a couple of knocks.

the trailer jackkniefs when u blow up all the cars, load the car with homies they should help a lot, they are pretty smart once u start to shoot the cab they will unload also. for the early part of the mission if u stay close and to the side of the back of the truck that help too but watch out for the trailer !!!

Hard enough misson alright! Just finished it there:D I take out the cars on the top first. Use the right thumbstick to aim, tricky enough though. Took me about 10 times to do it!

finished the game just there, strange end to it, dont really wont to spell it out just in case i ruin it fro someone, but was anyone else like huh? wtf?

whats really ****ty about that end is the fact i had played thru all of the vice kings missions and the saints rows ones after u beat all the gangs, didnt save, now i wont play that ****ing game again!

i was excited after beating the gangs cause of the cut scene(so many loose ends and all) but then am i now to believe that i cant do **** if i do that piece of **** lvl??????
