Just wondering what the toughts of the players are who have played there before. Planning on making a trip in this week (probably weds). have played in all the other clubs around town, how does silks compare?

Silks wed tournie is nice. Plenty of chips plenty of play. Could really do with an ante as it goes on v late. won it one week and split it last week. Both times was after 3am. good value as well. Last week was only 20 runners and still payed out 2500 prize money. Standard was mixed.

It was very slow to start with only 4 players at our table but 9 stacks. This was amazing. Got AA back to back. First the black ones and then the red ones. On each occassion I just called and picked up the dead blinds!!! :-(

I'd recommend it.

I'm also considering making my first trip to Silks, anyone know what the cash games are like? (PL or NL? blinds? Standard of Play?)

never really got inot the cash games too much as the tournie was always late. Usual cash game 1/2 blinds or a round of each. sat in one night with 100 and cashed out 1200 after 45 mins. But got lucky with 4 all ins preflop in omaha.
