Ohh Hoegarden is the evilest of drink. Myself and the fella were back in my hometown for the weekend. We went out, drank hoegarden all night. everything was going great until wham.... drunkiness... it was soo bad we jsut about managed to carry each other home, what a hangover the next day.

What is the story with tis beautiful drink, with its slice of lime that can make a person feel so bad.

(No doubt i'll be drinking it again, but next time slowly and maybe not as much)

Maybe if you drink it faster and drink more of it you wont get hungover... Think about it, it makes perfect sense!

Yep.. quite a fondness for the Belgian Nectar myself.

But found quite the opposite with it.. it is strong (though you wouldn't initially think it due to the citrus) but couldn't really get drunk on it... it's far too easy to drink though!

Tesco have it on special right now - a euro off. 4 bottles for €6.99 (well worth it). Bought a crate or two off RealBeers.ie so i'm set!

Obviously its the brand of beer at fault, not the fact you were horsing it down all night

The Hoe Gaarden they sell here is catpiss, the real stuff from Belgium kicks ass. I have a friend living in Flanders and she brought me a few bottles over one time. It was like rocket fuel 9% proof!
