    Hi,

I have an old cheap bench for doing my bench presses. Its says the max weight it takes is 150kg. Seeing as I weigh 90kg and I am now lifting 58kg. I am getting a bit worried

Anyone recommend a bench to me ? I guess I am looking to spend no more than €250. €300 in total as I need a new bar also. But thats a max. And it would need to be able to hold 200kg.

I've seen some decent ones in argos. Also in elverys and some with extra attachements. Although I really just want it for BP.

    Cheers,
    Brian.

*EDIT: This one looks ok ? http://www.buy4now.ie/elverys/productdetail.aspx?pid=1500&loc=P&catid=9.6

you could try something like this

it may be a bit overkill and slightly expensive, but you can also do incline and decline with it, and as the bench is seperate it will make a good utility bench for doing dumbell work. Now I don't know what the max weight is on it but as it is an oly bench it should have a decent limit, you could ring them and find out.

Thanks. Looks good. Also (from description)...
"Lifting Rack doubles as an adjustable Squat Rack and is independent of Bench ( which also doubles as a utility bench)"

    Now that would be handy.
