I've been finding it hard to get a full home game going recently so need some players.

Does anyone want to play a 50c/50c NLH uncapped cash game tonight. 8.30 in Dublin, Stillorgan/Lwr Kilmacud Rd.

No rake of course.

I'd be interested in something like this Mr Flibble, for future reference. Not often on boards at weekends though so would not see a Saturday afternoon post. Setting up home games used to be a regular feature here, pity it does not happen as much anymore.

this is near enough to me but im TDing the DIT game til about 9ish... i might make it about 9.30ish... i'm a no at the moment but could change.

I'd say it will be finishing up at about 1.30am. Depends on the game really, they have gone on till 11am next day, but those were carefree summer days.

But its a cash game so you can leave before the end. Just no hit and runs after the 1st hand!!

DubDani was the big winner for the night. Well done Dub.
He won a biggie betting on the come with a runner runner inside straight draw (afair-wasn't playing attention) against a set. I went on a brief bluffing spree early on which got me stuck 50, then hit a backdraw J high flush vs a backdoor K high flush (with A on board) to get me stuck another 50. But I soldiered on to end a little up for the night.

I'm sure I'll host another game soon. I'll keep you posted.

thanks for the enjoyable game. Of course winning a few bucks makes it even more enjoyable.

The one big hand you mentioned was a weird one... I raised pf with AQ... another very active player (IMO) reraised and I called the reraise hoping to hit hard.

Flop came K 8 2 . Check Ckeck IIRC.
Turn brought a J.

I figured he had the his hand in the cookie jar and bet out slightly less then the pot to take it down there and then. When he was considering an all in I knew I was behind. In the end he only called.

River brought a nice Ten, which filled my "very lucky" straight. I bet out 40, he called reluctantly, and his flopped set of 8s was no good. The pot was around 165, I think.

Nice game altogether. Let me know when you plan another one.

basically donked my money away, hadn't really played in a while, so now i know i need some more practice. Myself and Flibble were the last two there, so at least it kind of felt like i came 2nd - even if it was a cash game :rolleyes:
