    Hi folks,

My saddle along with saddle post. I brought the bike back to the shop where I bought it. They sold me a 30mm post and saddle. I realised pretty quicly that it was the wrong size but I kept it anyway as they had no alternative.... and I had waited four days to get that one.

I brought it into another bike shop today and a 30.2mm fits nicely into it.

The problem is that it costs 30 Euro for a replacement and it's shorter than the one I have. It might be fine but I do have the saddle up high.

Is it possible to get a .2mm shim? If so, where would I get one.

    Thanks,

    Dopey

If it was me I would paint it or put some tape on it. 0.2 is miniscule.

Try cutting a strip off an aluminium can and use that as a shim.
