Anyone gone to this before? Anyway worthwhile? And not worthwhile in the 'number of pens you can get for free' category.

Haven't been before, but definitely going next week. c.100 companies going to be there - some of which I want to apply to. Guess it's what you make of it yourself, more questions you ask people the more you'll get out of it.

Having attended events like this before one of the major problems is that people walk around, grab free pens (like Myth said) and don't actually talk to the people. I would urge everybody to get stuck in and chat to as many people as possible!! Doing that got me my summer job last year - the guy remembered me and helped me get through the interview process quickly.

Went to a postgraduate thing along the same vein there a while ago and it was a waste of time. Any info I got was already available on the relevant companies'/universities' websites. You may get free stuff though.

As I said, it's what you make out of it yourself. Found out this afternoon that I'll be on the UBS stand for a few hours so if anyone has any questions about UBS or Investment Banking careers/internships please come and ask me!
