iMac on strike

    Bah,

Got pissed off with my 1.6 Ghz 17" iMac crawling the last few days so I did a repair permissions on her today. Anyway, I verified and repaired all, then decided to turn off and restart her only to get nothing. Not a squeak. Tried to check the power point and plug but no joy as of yet. I'm running 10.3.9 and recently updated iTunes to 7.0.1, if this helps (May well do, as mush of the repaired permissions sorted were to do with iTunes). The iMac also seems come under the iMac recall for certain units under powerpack and DVD issues so if it has to be sent off, a repair should be for free.

    Any suggestions?

Boot up from the install disk by pressing c when it starts to boot.

    Update....

The iMac decided to boot up eventually, co-incidentally as I was on the phone to get it looked at. Not too sure if it is the power unit that is actiing up or some fault on a board in telling it to boot up. Will keep an eye on her the next few days, if anybody has any more ideas, let me know.
