Help find somewhere to go

    I'm living up to my username at the moment because i am seriously going demented.

    I am trying to find a holiday ANYWHERE from Shannon, Cork or Dublin for this weekend some time. I find some on sites but when you go to try book them they are no longer available.

    Anyone here have any good sites i could try where i might, just MIGHT find something. Or if i can't any ideas on what the heck to do for a weeks holidays. Recommend even a short break anywhere.

    I have rang the travel agents and they have zilch.

    I know the feeling.

    For going abroad what I'd normally do is check out
    www.lastminute.com. You can check for cheap flights.

    Once I've got my destination I'd look for a good value lastminute hotel on the same website or on www.wotif.com. You can really get good value. I've often used both and have never had any problems with bookings.

    Or if you just want a break in Ireland just use the 2 websites to find a good deal here. There is always plenty and at good a good rate too.

    Also, I usually check www.tripadvisor.com to get reviews of the hotel first. Excellent website. You might even find a better price for the hotel here!
