Step 1 : Join your loony mates on the 5c/10c omaha table and luckbox upto over $1k.

Step 2 : take your winnings to the $20/$40 wait for a good hand and close your eyes and ship it.

I'm attempting the $10 into $20k challenge at the moment after listening to a podcast from Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson.

Never played cash games before, so decided this was the perfect way to learn, work up through the limits.

    Started on September 19th

I never realised there was so much easy cash about in these games.

After 7000 hands, my $10 is worth just short of $800 at the moment (bonus whoring included), another couple of winning sessions, I'll be in there at .25/.50

    Sticking rigidly to 20 buy-in rule (100 BB buy-in)

Comments on PT stats welcome. (6 table)

    BB/Hr 17.01,
    BB/100 26.43,
    VP$IP 36.89,
    PFR 9.29%,
    W$aSD 49.04
    Total AF 2.18

VPIP is extremely high. Very few winning players would have a VPIP over 30.

Even at 6 seater Ian ?

$1k at .05/.10 Omaha? Ah come, I feel my leg being firmly yanked (keep our minds clean now).

Even more so for 6 seater Mick. 9 seater VPIP will be lower than 6 seater as obviously you'll need to play tighter.

~25 is a good ballpark figure.

It was very sick Dom. Mike is such a sick luckbox. The best was the regular 0.05/0.10 players sitting down with $5 and waiting hours to hit a hand. One nit was waiting for AAxx for an hour, eventually hit it and won (everyone was hoping for a dogging). Luckily Doyles Room had a deposit limit of $25 so I could only fall victim once to the Chief Brody of online poker.

I played that for a little bit, I thought it was just being sick gambl0rs so I was flat calling and ****. So someone helpfully pointed out: "Those aren't the rules Dapper!". By the time I figured out it was all in blind Omaha preflop I had $160 in front of me, thankfully I managed to get rid of it the next hand, with my preflop all red losing. Wtf like?

    RIGGED!

So it was raise pot for everyone preflop regardless and the best hand won? And he made 1k at those levels? By jebus that is sick.

Sick I got out of my seat to let him sit in the game and he lucksacks his way to 1k, Mike is a pro blind omaha player.

Forget about poker skins and websites this is where the cash is.

That was a sick session alright...

One lad at the blind omaha table last night made the following comment:

Once someobody gets a tank together at the table (over 30 buyins OR $600 @ 10c/20c ) then the rest of us who can only buy in for the max of $20 need to win 4 or 5 pots in a row to take the chip lead, whereas the lad with the big stack only needs to win one...

This worried me slightly, but then I figured - The players rebuying trying to topple the big stack are only risking $20 each time. If u can get 2 pots in a row against 3 players (including the big stack) u'll get it to 180 or so and then the next one is crucial. You'll be on 400 next time and that should be sufficient to take over the CL.

So is it just stupid playing blind omaha once someone has a huge stack or is it still neutral EV for everyone??.. (ignoring the rake).

Any maths guru's know the answer??

ps: a new rule should be the winner of blind omaha MUST take his winnings to the highest possible stakes table and attempt to double it.
