Netteller Sign up

    Is this normal?

    I signed up for netteller a few days ago as I want to move my online account to Full Tilt.

    I got an e-mail from them looking for a copy of my Driving licence, Passport, Utility bill, home telephone number (not mobile), DOB, Address etc...

    Problem might be that I don't have a home telephone number.

    Any ideas?

    I signe dup a few weeks ago, didn't have to do any of that and have been deopsiting / withdrawing a fair bit. It took about a week at the start to verify my account by lodging a small amount in my bank and asking for confirmation, then a phone call, but that was it.

    I just used my mobile and it was fine, its usually two items of identification so a copy, scan of passport and utility should be enough

    i have bein with neteller for over a year now , dont worry about giving them that information , they are the best way to fund your poker account online , oh ya if u want some free poker money for party poker or absolute poker send me a email to shane.prenderville@mymeteor.ie quoting free poker money and ill set u up , hope this helps

    Some people don't get asked for this type of ID, most do. It is standard stuff really with these type of accounts, same as if you wanted to set up a bank account really. I wasn't, but that reminds me that I have to contact Neteller. Cheers.

    pulling teeth springs to mind.

    Sent them all my security details. now discover that my deposit limit is only 200 and i have to wait for a few days for my bank account to be verified. So i decided to start by depositing the 200 via my maestro card. Funds are available but the keep declining my card. On phoning them they said to contact my bank.

    Bank tells me this is a regular problem with neteller and i should do an online transfer which takes 3-5 working days.

    Might get to play sometime next year........

    Anyone else with these problems/niggles/challenges
