Okay, seeing as there's a little confusion over these these sites, I thought I'd explain. This is in addition to any talk on the site as well, as I might upset 6th if I hijack his thread too much, him being the big softy that he is ;)

Anyway, a short description of the other two sites before going onto the paranormal one.

Stormrain.net: This is pretty much a travel and creativity ste, which is the root of the Stormkeeper and Blackrain domains. It is the site that hosts the forums, guestbook, wiki and other services, because there's no point in having 2 of everything for a site which is shared essentially. It also has its own gallery for travel stuff and pretty much handles anything not covered by Blackrain or Stormkeeper. Storm Rain is actually the first part of Stormkeeper and second part of BlackRain.

Stormkeeper.net: My personal site which is situated off of Storm Rain. I keep all stuff specific to me here, such as my pictures, creative stuff (soon) and other stuff that wouldn't fit on Storm Rain, because it's specific to me. Blackrain, who is one of my best friends uses his site for similar purposes.

Stormrainparanormal.org is pretty much Irish Paranormal renamed. Initially, I was going to make it a group, but I realised (with the help of a good friend) that it would be better off staying a solo effort till I got myself a little more established. Although it says paranormal, I do want to have spiritual stuff on it too, as well as stuff on maick and stuff. This site will also have its own forums, a wiki and guestbook. It also has its own gallery for paranormal pics, and I have the idea of letting people upload their own to show off. They can also request larger pics as well to look at.

On all 3 sites, I need to fix the images in all the galleries to be at 70-75% quality to save some more space, and to help them load up faster. Anything below that would mean you can't see much. I also want to give the pics proper file naming conventions, and want to give a caption for each, where possible. I was also thinking of watermarking the pictures as well. I also have the idea of site integration, part of which you can see going on with stormrain.net; the idea that you just login to the site and can browse services without needing to login anymore, though this is a long way off...

I dunno if that explains much, but I'll answer any qstions about the site that you have...

Thats clears up a bit for me, and you know how confused I was!

You do remember that this is the Paranormal Forum? (thats for calling me a softy!)

    Point being? :p

Seriously, I need to explain the other sites in order to explain the Paranormal one... it's a pain, but better that than confusion.

What's wrong with being a softy anyway? Just so long as you're the softy that isn't a pushover, then it's all good...

The sites need to be so seperate that if someone has an interest in only one (the paranormal one) then they shouldnt have to even consider let alone educate themselves about the others.

    Stand alone websites ftw!

    Love the logo btw ;)

The site is actually stand alone... the only true connections the paranormal site has to is that it partly has the same name as another site, currently has a forum hosted on that site and has the same webmaster. Other than that, it's completely independant, which I want it to be.

    You would :D

I need to get a new logo organised, lol
