buying xbox live from play.com

its cheaper than buyining direct over the xbox but do they ae to send out the code in the post or can they just email it to you.
also is the membership associated to the console or to the broadband connection you use. ie if i moved house would it still work when i take the console?

get it of ebay.com, .com, not .ie. You can use the american ones, find one that will email you the code, I've got 3 from ebay and they only cost about €30!

Yeah ebay is a better option I've gotten two from there and got the codes emailed to me.

...and the membership is associated with your gamertag. It does not matter where in the world that tag is logged in when you connect online, or from what xbox console.

Does anyone have an e-bay link to someone they have purchased the live sub from. If its someone that will mail the code that would be great. Dont want to get caught out sending money to a scammer and any recommendations would be great!!

Don't worry about it being for the original xbox and not the 360 or being an american code, neither are a problem!!

I didn't realise that you could but them off ebay. I was in gamestop looking at them, I think they were about €59 or so. Now all I need to do is get my xbox and i'll be laughing.
