who are the expected entrants and what part of the county needs/wants/could suport a EL team?

Kerry/Wexford seem to be the most mentioned locations.

I beleive Mullingar Celtic (or is it Town?) are in with a shout, along with some crowd from Mayo.

With any luck it will be a team from a county with no eL representation already.

just hope its not another Dublin team trying to take over from home farm/ Dublin City

I think out of the current 21 eL clubs 12 are from Leinster so I think it should be obvious that we need another club outside this province. The fact Mayo and Kerry have had regional league teams represent them in the eL cup may stand well for those counties.

Mullingar Town (although apparently both clubs have great facilities) .
I would prefer a county without a EL team .

I would love an EL side here in Tipp and it would get good support , however no club/s are willing to step up to the plate .

A side from Kerry or Mayo would be a good choice , with the district leagues forming a team themselves or the like of Castlebar Celtic in Mayo .

There's been a good bit of talk about Kerry. Don't know the scene there, but I think it'd be a great addition.

I was actually thinking the Irish national team. They wouldn't look out of place in Div1.

Kerry or Mayo looks the best bet.

Letterkenny Rovers have a major chance although I think Mayo or Kerry team would be best.

    Could Donegal support another team?

I'd like to see a Kerry team there.

And for Christ Sake I hope the FAI make sure they are viable before allowing them access to the league, and not go to another CHF fiasco.

What about a team from Navan? Parkvilla?

    Growing town.

Donegal cannot support one team at the moment but the FAI don't use logic - its all political and who you know so I think they have a chance.

Some team that will bring new talent into the league. I am of the opinion that 1st division teams should be forced to have minimum 7 players under 23 on field at any one time.

I was looking at the Athlone match on telly and my God there are so many of the AThlone players overweight. They tired in the end and thats why AThlone lost - they simply didnt have the fitness levels. I just cannot understand why 1st division teams dont just put out an under-21 side in order to develop an excellent side for the future.

id like national league to come to kerry but i dont think that the support would be there, crowds aint the best at the under 21 games and while senior teams would attract more, im not sure if it would be enough. the players are there and alot of underage players are playing with some of the big teams like cork city, limerick and shels. if all those players came together, then kerry would be a decent bet.
