International orders Except Canada are accepted with American Express, Bank to Bank wire transfer and money order. No PayPal.

And I place a bid and it wins, what happens then? Will I have to go through and cancel any process with paypal or is it just down to me marking it as paid and the seller marking it as paid once the bank transfer goes through? Also, how long do bank transfers usually take?

Also, what's the story with American Express? Can anyone give a brief summary of how it's used, restrictions etc? :)

    Any feedback appreciated!

The seller normally will mark the payment as received, you can do the same on your end. Make sure you know this seller is legit as it is probably not covered under eBay regulations (ie, they won't cover it if you use a payment outside of Paypal). Bank transfer to the US(I am assuming here) from Ireland would take up to 7 business days in my experience.

The seller definitely seems legit. They are a power seller, have a phone line etc etc. 7 days for the bank transfer:eek: Ouch. Does anyone know if that is the max time or the usual time for the transfer to go through?
