    Hi,

    I have a mark1 escort four door which I am trying to decide what to do with. (1300 XL 1972). I am torn between selling it to pay for the restoration of my Mark 2 Mexico or insure it and drive it.

    The car is not perfect but has had some work done to it as follows

    - Mark 2 escort axle, Brakes, Front suspension fitted including disk brakes
    - Poly bushed front suspension
    - Single leaf mark 2 springs
    - Mark2 ghia interior seats and carpet
    - Small sporty steering wheel
    - Modified doors to accept mark 2 window winders as I could not get replacements for the mark1
    - The floors have been replaced
    - Recon 1.3 mark 2 engine
    - 6 clock XL dash
    - Few bits of rust (rear wheel arch, front panel)
    - Needs a re-spray as paint is very dull (datona yellow orignally)


    What would something like this be worth?
