    Hi Folks,

Just wanted to check your views. Who is the best NL 10/20 20/40 player on Tribecca in your opinion....and WHY ?
I've seen Two Timer, Clubber, Tommy Boy and Sealy play quite alot and they ALWAYS seem to be massive amounts of cash up.

    Cheers

I was watching the 20/40 tables in detail the other day and thought the game wasn't much different from 2/4 on Party. Everyone either looked bad or seemed to be playing underfunded. but none of the names you mentioned were playing.

Clubber is probably the best 150/300 limit player on the network. I'm pretty sure he's the biggest winner.

Hagen is definitely one of the best all round players on the site with lots of impressive MTT results as well as being a huge winner in the limit games.

No Way !!! I've been watching clubber and the likes for almost a year now.
Clubber went on an unbelievable run on 150/300 Limit, won about 150k in 10 days...but he's lost BIG on it, more than he's put in now. He even admits himself he can't play limit. When he sits with Tommyboy and Two Timer more often than not he loses his 6k buy in and goes back to the NL tables.

News to me. Last I heard he was up a sick amount from that game. Anyhoo call all the way to the river with bottom pair in that game and you'll be a millionaire in a year.

Sealy is Conor Tate - 12th in WSOP in 2005. Big winner on ladbrokes too.

He is also one of the owners of Uncoverpoker.com. I think uncoverpoker is part of the Tribeca network. Is there anything wrong with owners of skins playing on their own sites? Always wondered what access to information and systems the owners of skins have, anyone know?

Way wrong here Ian, Clubber has taken an absolute battering at the hands of Tommyboy TwoTimer Tongre StoxTrader and Snowman (neverwin Dustin Wolf). In the big limit game the biggest winners are Snowman by a country mile but he doesnt play so much lately probably followed by Tommyboy out of the regulars. There are maybe 10 players on the site beating that game regularly Clubber is in there but definately not in the top 6 or 7.

As far as the Nl game goes in the last 6 months biggest winners are Clubber and Thea followed by Sleetard and Tommyboy. Sealey was beating the game as good as anyone else earlier in the year but hasnt played that much lately. There are a bigger pool of players beating the game well in the no limit than in the limit, my pillow account was a pretty big winner there this year.

Roysh roysh. I know a while back he was destroying it. Must've turned around.

    Retired.

Sealey does own a skin. We do not have any access to Hand Histories etc. Of course we can see who is raking what and who is winning/losing what but only our own players. I cannot see any info on PPP or VC players for example.

There are a lot of winners in the big NL games as there are so many losers. Interestingly enough the 10/20 games are not filling nor that the 20/40 is open. There used to be 3 or 4 10/20 tables running, now 1 or 2 if you are lucky.

Who would u think is the best tournanment player on the network. Do u think the leader board is a true reflection of the best tourney players.

Leader board is a bad way of judging, I once got third on it for the month after playing exactly one tournament.

    yeah agreed.

In my opion the only two players in the top 10 of the leader board are dlperrio and gregior. The rest of the players up there seem to enter the tourneys that offer the best points return rather than cash return. id even go as far to say that one or two of the players in the top 20 are actually down money in there accounts.

I wish they would make a profit tourney leader board. This would be interesting

in my experience tommyboy is the toughest high stakes player,i know he's mainly a limit played but he seems to be excellent at nl too
i dont think jehovah could be described as excellent at all

I've only started playing on Tribeca, Tommyboy has been on my $5-10 PLO table all morning and he seems like a total fish to me! Maybe a different Tommyboy?

edit: the guy on my table is tommyboy83 (Chicago)

Same tommyboy, it's just that you are so good you make everyone look like a donk.

The rest are very good alright, but scorpy is a fish. I've seen him lose thousands over the course of the year. Thea03 is also a great player. I think he used to be called assersen.

    jehova is a fish
asserson is a tight predictable fish - a winner tho

i play a bit of 20/40 and sealey & tommyboy are v good.
clubber is loosing his bolix the past week, but my tip is...
alias - strangely no mention of him!

u ll see me on there as "ianie" - i sit in with 500/1k and leave with 0/5k
just go in with prob the best hand and hope it holds up! : )

it is good fun if u like that kinda gamble...

    what about treenom?..

jehovah is a good mtt player, brutal at cash games.. donks it all off at 20/40.

Scorpy has been successful whenver I've seen him-he did very well at 5/10 and killed most of the 3/6 tables earlier in te year. Jehovah is volatile but very talented its true that he is very successful in MTTs but his propensity to tilt is what lets him down.

TookURcookie is also a very good player.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 268 ✭✭FastMachine

I've played lots with Scorpy and seen him drop tons of cash. He's never learned to fold top pair. Now and again he'll get a big stack but that is what happens sometimes when you play like a lag fish and hit your cards. I don't really know Jehovah. TookUrCookie is alright, wouldn't have him down as a fish but I wouldn't have him down as a very good player either, I'd rate him as average.

HJ: Yeah, asserson is tight and predictable (and sensible), and that goes a long way on Tribeca. One of the biggest winners on the site couldn't be called a fish.

Treenom isn't much of a player either, btw.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,212 ✭✭✭MrPillowTalk

ersnade, jehova, scorpy and tookurcookie are nowhere near the best players on the site, they are winners but all pretty easy to beat imo.

Alias is very good forgot to mention him in my original post, however word on the grapevine is he has been losing lately.

arne_and is a good player and bullypete consistently cashes in tourneys

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 132 ✭✭luckyvegas7

tookurcookie, jehovah, gregior, are not winning cash game players, mtts they are winners, portfolio is also up there, again he is predictable... theres a huge diff between cash and mtt players on tribeca................<

Lol. Zekulya is an uber fish at 1/2 let alone when he sits in at 5/10.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,053 ✭✭✭jimbling

I played a good bit against Alias when I was playing a bit on the 5/10 and 10/20 level a few months ago. Always had him down as one of the dangerous players. Last night he was 4 tabling 20/40... really didn't think too many people would do this... at least not successfully. He was up on every table though.

tookurcookie is decent but that about all.
Jehova cant play cash for **** and is an ok tourney player.
analyzer is good tourney player ,havent seen him play cash.
Bullypete is aggrro tourney player but play him with position and he is no great shakes.
delpiro is a very good tourny player.
Conorjoseph(Conor Smith) very good tourney player.
    sexygee is vgood tourney player.
i think the best tourney player i have seen on this site has to be geah.
he had some sick record and was making final tables and top 1/2 left right and centre.
portfolio is a very tight very pradictable tourney player .
Tilormade is an excellent 2/4 cash player.

i was playing at a table one day with him for about an hour - early in a tourney - he did nothing but berate all the players around him...... I eventually told him to keep his trap shut, that he wasn't showered in glory himself... I won't get into his replys. Basically talking up how good he was, going on about his tourney record etc etc ... jesus it was painfull.
I've met him a good few times since, sometimes he's fine, sometimes he's very obnoxious. people like that get on my tits.
