    Hi folks,

I'm looking to get one of these:

    http://www.machinemart.co.uk/product.asp?p=060722610&r=2109&g=115

...although not necessarily that brand, just any brand and not too dear.
Are these sold in the likes of B&Q or Woodies or do I have to go to a specialist power tools shop?

(or would anyone in the North Dublin / Meath area be flogging one? :-)

    Cheers,

    B.

I'm nearly sure I've seen them in B+Q, though definatly in Mcquilans.Seen as your on the north side you could chance the fairyhouse market on sundays, always a few tool sellers up there. Not sure of the prices though.

Aldi / Lidl sell these every so often, cheap with the usual 3 year guarantee.
I agree with the doctor , much better than a stand on its own

Well, I've just forked out for a new drill (as the last one would start up as soon as it was plugged in  ) so shelling out more on another drill isn't on the cards, but thanks for the advice on that anyway.

The job I have in mind for this isn't going to last long, and I'm not the most frequent DIY'er so a cheapie will hopefully do me.

Will check the usual shops this weekend then...

    Cheers,

    B.
