    Hi All,

I hope to buy a projector screen from the UK, but the seller is having difficulty getting a reasonable postage price. The package is about 213x20x16cm and weighs approx 20kg.
Anyone have any recommendations for a delivery company?

It's in Cardiff and I'm in Kildare...

Ring up one of the local courrier firms and ask them for a quote to have it collected from the seller and delivered to you. How much is the seller being quoted?

The only one I have ever had experience with pickup from UK and delivery to Ireland was Interlink.

Roscrea Express will certainly oblige you in such an endeavour.

Hi agree with other poster Interlink are very reasonable from UK to Ireland. I am also in the same County as you and have used them. Very good.

Thanks for the replies folks. This is a private sale and the seller has been quoted up around the £60-70 mark. Thats very expensive I think. Somewhere around £40 would be what I expect.

Interlink are up there with the expensive ones too...

    Hi

Not sure if they have what you need, but seller LuzernTech only charges about 8.50 for shipping.

It might be cheaper for you to fly to Cardiff and collect it.

    Regards

Interlink from UK to Ireland is £35 for up to 30kg I believe.

Takes 2 days. I have used them once before and am expecting second delivery on Monday.

Any more than that and someone's telling porkies

Thanks for the replies folks. The deal has fallen through. Seems the lenght of the package (:p ) is above standard postal services so therefore the stupidly high postal charges...

postage costs from UK to Ireland are shocking... i've paid £25 on two occasions for shipping speakers and then a monitor with Parcelforce
