New lawn weeds

    Hi all,

I sowed a lawn at the back of my gaff this aututmn and It has grown quite nicely. I haven't cut it yet. However, there are an awful lot of what looks like clover as well.

A friend told me that it's best not to do anything and just cut the grass when the time comes. He reckons that the clover will die away eventually.

Should do as he says or find a selective weedkiller and zap the clover? If the right thing to do is the latter, could somebody recommend a weedkiller that will burn the clover and not the lawn.

Sorry if this sounds thick and newbie. I have had zero gradening experience before this.

Your grass is still too young to use a weed killer, do as your friend suggested and wait, if its a problem next year then consider s selective weed killer or use a good brand Weed & Feed.
