I am very interested in ANY information any board member has in the outsourced driving tests being conducted by NCT. i.e:-
    • which centre did you originally apply to
    • how long were you waiting
    • any clues as to what routes are being used
    • does the test differ in any way from the existing tests
    • what is the attitude of the testers
    • did you get any explanation of your faults at the conclusion
    • etc etc

I've just been given my date for Deansgrange. I had originally applied for Rathgar. I've been waiting since November last year.
I was just about to post the same questions. Has anyone done their test in Deansgrange and how was it???

I read in some paper that they have cut the test waiting times by 6weeks already, any truth to do?

The driving test has been outsourced to the same crowd that are doing the NCT and are using the NCT locations as test centres. At least, that's what I was told.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Jimbo, don't resurrect old threads. By all means, start your own new thread, but please read the charter first
