Have you read "Operation Trojan Horse" by John Keel? It was published in the 70s I think, and has an incredible amount of detailed research on late 1800s "airship" sightings, ones exactly like the picture you attached. Fascinating read. Its a brilliant mix of hard fact and wild speculation. After chapters and chapters of meticulous reporting and factual information he essentially goes "Ok, now I'm just gonna start thowing ideas out there!" His theorising would put Stevenmu to shame :)

    Hiya,

Speaking from a view of knowing very little about the subject I think the site looks great. I would remove the boxes on the right though - too much information spread over too many places on the page. Maybe some obvious searches could be put in - e.g. by location, chronologically etc

I like the idea but what is the cut off date for accounts?

If you'd like I'll stick a link on my site?

No, but I read his 'Mothman Prophecies', 'Our Haunted World' and sveral articles by him. The airships were investigated by Thomas E. Bullard quite well, who went to the newspaper archives and located literally thousands of articles of that timespan.

    Hi,

Thanks for that kind of input! I may really think about it though it still is a forum for posts and not a database. I'll think about that 'too much info' too. thanks.
