    You've done pretty well with this one, chum. Lighting is pretty good, nicely captured, pity d'other wan in the background wasn't there but that can't be helped. :)

    Probably won't do any harm, what cam do you use? Wait till the real camera buffs come along, they'll be able to help you better and give you more ideas. :)

    cool i use a 350D but also an olympus Om10 and a Nikon fe2!
    i need a faster lens for the digital!!

    I need to chuck this old point and shoot, I still haven't gotten around to getting a digital SLR. It will probably have to wait until Christmas now, boo.

    Like this, nice natural capture of a piper. I agree the background is a bit distracting, i would think about applying a blur to that alright. Nicely done though, good capture for a pub as well!

    thanks he's actually an italian would you believe, he's in first year in the ba in irish music, im in second year of the same course so i have loads of oppertunities to shoot musicians im very happy!!

    hate to upset ya man , but I think the lower numbers are the better ones when it comes to Nikons !! Less is more and all that !!:D

    lovely shot, i wouldn't change it, i can see why people make see the chick in the back distracting but i dunno, kinda adds to the atmosphere for me IMO, shows its not staged and what not

    Just had a proper(not drunk) look at the photo, and I think overall it's very good.
    Maybe add a bit of blur on the chick in the background, but it's not important.
    There's is some blur on his elbows, but personally I'd try and get some blur in the fingers too...next time that is :P
