A friend and I are pretty interested in taking up mma, complete beginners. Is there anywhere in Bray or relatively nearby that we could take up mma? What kind of costs would we be looking at, like per session, gear etc? How often a week do most people train?

What is a typical beginners routine like?

    Thanks

hey living in bray myself, and the closest clubs are in loughlinstown leisure centre "next Generation" club

the club is primarily a BJJ/submission fighting club, but mma enthuasiasts are catered for, you can pm me for full training details, but tuesday 9.15pm to 10.30pm and Wed 7.00 pm to 8.30pm are good nights for beginners, we have a good few beginners at the moment as well, a lot of the guys who are fairly serious into mma train outside in a striking art, a lot of them goto the Warriors Muay Thai gym also in loughlinstown beside the leisure centre, and a couple train with Globlal kickboxing who train in the same hall as us right before our class in the leisure centre.

UCD mma club is quite close to Bray now with the M50 open, not sure of details
and www.fiannagym.com in Dundrum. Feel free to pm me with any further questions etc
