They seem dodgy by all accounts, they used to trade as NYC Camera. Avoid at all costs.
That lens will fit no problems as it's the Canon EF mount variety.
There are loads of Places to shop that some of us here have previously recommended in the sticky above.
    Best of luck.

agreed. If the place seems dodgy it probably is. There are loads of alternatives that are well tried & tested by many users here. If they were previously NY Camera, I'd run away from them as fast as your legs can carry you.

I bought a Canon 70-200 L from this guy and it worked out ok, delivery time was a bit long but in fairness it included a bank holiday weekend, but he was the cheapest of the German sites. That was before i read about problems other customers reported on various sites.
So i might be a little shy of ordering big ticket items from him. As has been mentioned on another thread Cam Ireland is reasonable enough and have a facility to order COD which is minimal risk to the buyer.

    I sent them this email:

    > Hi there,
    >
    > I am iterested in buying a Canon EOS 400D Kit with 18-55mm Lens.
    >
    > The price says "Prepayment ?728" but it also says ?749 - what is the
    > difference? Does it include Delivery?
    >
    > I need this delivered to Dublin, Ireland. How long will this take, do you
    > have it in stock? I need it quickly as I am going away and want to bring
    > the camera with me.
    >
    > I would appreciate if you can get back to me asap.

    And I got this reply:

Thanks very much for your e-mail!

Prepayment means, that you have to transfer the money to our bank account
and after the money has reached us, we will send you your ordered
    merchandise as fast as possible.
The other price "749 " is , if you pay with credit card, because for paying
in advance there´s a little discount and the price is 3% lesser.
The Shipping to Ireland for this Kit costs 22,00Euro.
At the end of this week we´re going to receive a new delivery of 400D Kits,
so if you order right now, it is possible, that we can ship your merchandise
    next week!

We hope this will be helpful for you.
If you have any further questions please let us know, our
door is always open for you!

Until then have a nice week!

    Best regards,

    Your DigitalWonderworld Team

    What do you recon?

I suppose it's worth the extra €20 credit card price for the security of paying by credit card. I'd be too paranoid to pay by bank transfer.

Sorry if I scared anyone off theses guys and they are honest, I read a lot of horror stories about them and the company they used to trade as though.

Saw your post on PI Zascar and didn't see this until now. Ronan, where did you get the info that they are OK? Their prices are interesting on some stuff.
