So how many boardies were "chiefed" lastnight?

whats the sickest beat he dished out?

i was chiefed in about 37th place when i elected to push my dwindling stack in with AQs from the BB hoping he had raised with his usual A-rag, he had 10's & flushed up on the turn leaving me drawing dead on the river!

I too was chiefed. Out in 41st I think.

Blinds are 400/800. I open for 2000 from the CO with 77. Chief is the only caller from the BB. Pot is 4850. I have 12000 behind, Chief covers.

    Flop comes 4 5 6, 2 clubs

Chief open pushes. I suspect that he has a good draw but quickly call. He has J9 of clubs. It's almost exactly 50:50 on the flop. Unfortunately, he has his way with me when a club falls on the river

    Chief - A7
    BadBeatJoe - A5

    Flop A 5 x

    Chief "all in"
    BadBeatJoe "call"

Im sure you can finish this story yourself but just in case

    Turn x

    River 7

    To further elaborate:

    Hand is over;

    Chief: "Thats Poker"

    Joe: "No, thats boll*cks!!"

i was also chiefed in about 23rd i think.

AQs from mid position and chief pushed on the button for a lot. I eventually call when i know were racing and his jacks stand up.

there were talks of getting t-shirts done up. the guy is hilarious!

When you just arrived to the table and raised his BB and he caled we were all chuckling. It was like the next unwitting victim up for scalping. The bongo drums were beating!.

    so who chiefed the chief?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,751 ✭✭✭BigCityBanker

    Dave Masters

Chief with A 6 on a K 9 6 board. Chief bets 4k with 44 behind, DM makes it 14k Chief pushes Dave calls with a K and on this occasion Chief did not come from behind.

I took a lot of chips off him, but when we got to the final table Dave Masters finished him off. Dave limps on the button (!) with KThearts , the flop is K65 2 diamonds, the Chief bets out 4k from the sb. Masters makes it 12 and the chief moves in for a lot more. Masters thinks and call, the chief has A6o and misses.

I'll spare u the details of the hand but he called an all-in push on a Jx 10d 7d flop last night for about 300e with Kd 10x and spiked a K on the turn to take the pot. he then came out with this classic...

" I dont care about all that maths stuff, if you dont call when youre behind you'll never make a shilling in this game. You dont need cards, you just need balls. Anyway, i had the King of diamonds! "

    Classic stuff alright!

"I had runner, runner straight and flush draws. He only had a jack. I was behind but I had loads of outs!"

Unbelievable stuff. I cannot wait for the inevitable run of bad variance that the Chief is sure to experience eventually.

But this is what makes the Chief who he is today, a legend in the making!

    All hail the Chief!;)

OMG, I've just been given the ultimate new chat-up line to use on unsuspecting young women in Flannerys / Howl at the Moon / D2 on a Saturday night. Forget 'grab your coat, love, you've just been pulled' --- I'm gonna run wild with 'hey beautiful, now that you've met me, it's time to go...you've just been chiefed baby, you've just been chiefed'

Roll on my 6 month long run of positive variance with the lucky ladies of Sydney!

Probably just a coincidence, but are you Nick Leeson? He was one of the first to be chiefed.
There was a big commotion at the table and a crowd gathered to see Nick all in with KK, the chief had 67o (not sure if he pushed or called- hopefully the latter).
    The chief filled a boat:D
