Deciding on BT's line rental and BB package...on signup it asks for quantity of "PCMCIA" and "USB" cards at 40 euro a pop..what's the deal with these:confused:

I'm guessing these are required for wireless rather than wired modem which is my preferred option..this correct??

Yes. If you have an ethernet port on your computer, just set 0 for the number of wireless USB or PCMCIA adapters.
