amv files question

    have a little mp3/4 player ipod type with amv player on it . im looking to rip a dvd to it to play on the go, anyone recomend a converter to use ?

    I dont quiet understand you Dave what do you mean amv player on ipod

    Are you trying to convert dvd vob files into mp4 format to put on your Ipod:)

    its a ipod clone that plays back video in amv file format mate.

    The amv format isn't an MPEG-4 one, according to Google you should have gotten a software conversion tool with it that encodes into the .amv container.

    But a little searching turned up the location of encoding software which supports the amv format.

    The latest version appears to be v4.05
