I am looking for mini speakers to plug into my mp3 player. Preferably taking normal AA's and small but good quality. I would spend around €100-150

I use a set of Sony SRS T-70s that I got on eBay for about £25stg

Takes 4 AA batteries which last about 12 hours at 70% volume (which is pretty loud). I use rechargables.
Sound is pin sharp, bass is decent for the wee size of them and they are very robust (I use them on building sites where they've been splashed, dropped and generally abused and they still sound as good as the day I got 'em)

Click for pic (why are image tags disabled in this forum???)

No need to spend crazy money to get quality sound in this case.

Thanks for the help, I went with the Altec Lansing inMotion iM4 in the end, retail at $100, got them for €66 delivered on ebay from a proper shop (i.e. new)
