    did anyone else buy one of these in Maplins - cost 80 euro, seems great so far, 65k colour screen, super light and small, video playback is quite good, and the supplied converting software is great for converting all my xvid and divx shows to 35mb files.

    But I can't get it to charge. I plug it into my usb post, the charging screen comes up, but when I take it off a few hours later, the battery is the same as I left it i.e almost drained.

    Just wondering before I bring it back if there is any sort of setting I am missing....

    I've just bought one and am charging it now.
    I'am charging it with the power switch at on as it says in the instructions, is this what you did?

    will let you know how it goes.
