not sure if i'm in teh right forum but i'll try anyway

I iwant to set up a wireless link in teh office so visitors and the IT department can connect laptops to it and access teh web or LAN.

we've two old Nethopia 3347 wg routers from eircom. i tried fiddling around and can brows out LAN alright with them but they don't seem to pass down out gateway IP from our DHCP Server.

if i disable the DHCP option on the netopia all wireless IPs are in the 169 range (private IP range) if i enable it then the IP of the netopia router is given as the IP gateway address.

anyone any idea or am i barking up the wrong tree using the netopia box and should i just get a belkin or netgear unit instead:confused: ?
