What street would you consider as the "City Centre"? Just anything between O'Connell, Henry, Williams, Catherine, Cruises Street?

I'd consider it runs from O Connell St. to Gerlad Griffin St. and Arthurs Quay/Ellen St/Hight Street to Roches/Shannon St. (including everything in between)

From Shannon Street to City hall, Catherine street down as far as the river! That square

"Cruises Hotel" (the oldest hotel in Limerick - Daniel O'Connell himself stayed in it) is the city centre ..... :)

    no doubt about it ....

Cruises Street and O Connell Street from Arthurs Quay to The George. The Rest of it is City but not City Centre.

For me it was always the junction between Todds/Roches/Easons/william/o Connell street. That little bit where all the roads intersect and they used to have the
yellow cross hatch painted on the road.

Officially every city centre in Ireland is measured from the GPO in that city

Therefore Limerick city centre is officially Lower Cecil Street
