I'm wondering where I would get a small wood/sawdust burning stove for the workshop. I've seen them in a couple of UK mags that are fairly cheap but never in any of the stores over here. The kind I need would have to come with a flu that could be run through the wall.Any idea's.

Give Ryans Stoves Ltd. a ring on 067 42709 or 086 ******* they are just on the Limerick side of Nenagh any stove I have priced off him was very keen.

He had a basic pot bellied stove there the last time I was in that would be ideal for your job, I think it was somewhere between €100 - €150. Real nice guy to deal with.

Is that a toploader or frontloader?

You could also have a look at the following:

    http://http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUNstove-Workshop-heater-8kw-wood-burning-stove_W0QQitemZ220035126748QQihZ012QQcategoryZ1269QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Seems to be a cheaper alternative to the Relax workshop stove plus some good feedback from other buyers.

(In fact I've just ordered one ;) - shipping to Ireland adds about another £50 but still works out very reasonable)

If it's for a workshop just be careful, a friend who makes kitchens had a pot bellied stove for burning the scrap and off cuts. He had to take out because of some insurance issues.
You miss it these cooler days let alone coming into the winter

What a coincidence, just been surfing the net looking for the same thing. I found the Relax at the http://www.thehotspot.co.uk. The sun one looks good though, and a lot cheaper. ecostoves.ie also have a stove suitable for garage use here http://www.ecostoves.ie/lanwbs.html (it's the second last one major or minor) but it 4-500 euros

Hey lads thanks for the reponses. The ebay link didn't work but the stoves from stoveirland look good. R1 or 2 I rekon should be reasonable seeing as the biggest is 560 e. My original thoughts were on something like this
from machinemart.A basic pot bellied stove, I actually saw a very similar one at the garage on the lucan bypass beside the pub, they were 120 euro, just wasn't sure if they would be suitable because they are advertised as patio heaters with a rack for BBQ's.This may seem a silly question, but even if a stove is cast iron, does that mean that it will safely burn wood/sawdust for longish periods or are dedicated waste stoves like the ones from stove ireland made especially for the task using different materilas,I mean to perhaps dissapate the heat a little. My shed is about 20*12, I dont want to get driven out by the heat.

The correct link is http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUNstove-Workshop-heater-8kw-wood-burning-stove_W0QQitemZ220035126748QQihZ012QQcategoryZ1269QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem. It seems very similiar to the Relax, but a good deal cheaper then thehotspot.co.uk

I contacted stoves ireland a while back, they only do the R6, and if memory serves me correct, its gone up a bit in price from the advertised one.

Can any of these stoves burn sawdust?

I tried burning sawdust before and it doesn't burn well, no room for air...

It's supposedly designed to burn sawdust, using two air intakes to help.
