Im trying to get a pass at the moment but I may have to put in some time with my girlfreind who has come to refer to herself as a poker widow.

I'd ring the Jackpot before I'd turn up if I was going tonight as I turned up last night at 8.15 for the €100 DC game and apart from a few chinese guys sitting around watching football reruns on the tv there was nothing going on there.

Then again they did alter the format (not for the better) of the Tuesday game by all accounts so maybe I shouldn't be surprised. It always makes me laugh the clubs bring in a good tournie format to attract punters and when the numbers start to get decent they start messing around because some of the gamblor moany players can't stand a decent game with a bit of play and then the game falls apart. Happens in almost every club from what I've seen.

I arrivedat 9.30 and they had just stared the 50-100 level:) they only had 22 runners but twas a good game and had a lot of play on the FT... highlight of the night was doing phils head in by hitting with A4 vs his AQ!!

thinking about ept sat tonight... not sure as i need to get some online MTTs in at some stage!

As for negotiating around her, well I did manage to get a month in vegas on my own, but the "I have to play this one!" excuses ate wearing thin.

We shall see, it would be a shame to miss it it looks a good session if nothing else.

Im gone in fifth after having a 10J situation on a J 2 8 10 board only for Adam to have 22 in the hole.

Ocallagh going strong with 4 left, 26 runners in total, excellent tourney hope it becomes more popular.

Forgot to give you that tenner Niall Ill get you on double or quits next week.

ughh, 4 left.. all even enough in chips (Kevin and Adam slightly ahead). Blinds 1k 2k. Battle of blinds between Kevin and myself... 87c on 467 flop. and I make a disastrous call with TP when Kevin overbets the draw heavy board.. he had middle set. I didnt need to get 20BBs in the middle...

The only excuse I can think of is:
Over the previous few rounds (since our smoke break) I'd started playing a bit more... had my chips in the middle a few times with air on a few squeeze plays/button steals etc.. so thought Kevin might have been playing back at me.:)
