Want Green Button to open Beyond TV

    Can I change what the green button on the MS MCE Remote dows, namely open snapstream Beyond TV?

    I've tried replacing the win MC application with beyond tv but windows just recreats the app file.

    Hey there Mr Flibble.. Have you tried HIP (the Human Interface Programmer)?

    Sounds like it's exactly what you need.. Or more specfically, what you need is a replacement for the current MCE Remote driver (written by Bruno Fleurette) which allows you to use your MCE remote to control any application, and a secondary app to launch/control a seperate application.

    You can donwload and read all about the driver here: http://www.byremote.com.au/Hip/mce_remote_faq.htm

    But you will also need a second application to control the intented app, e.g. the aforementioned free application: HIP, or the commercial product: Girder
