so what clubs did everyone join today,

i joined the karting one and redbrick and then ran out of money so ill have to wait till tomorrow to do any more:(

so what did everyone else join

I joined redbrick, rock climbing, snowboarding and home and away....i don't really know why i joined those ones, just sort of did!

Just redbrick as didn't have much money and naturally atm's weren't in use.

Tomorrow I shall definately be joining PokerSoc and KartingSoc, then after that I will have usual ones which I join but never attend.

Wanted to join volleyball but there was nobody at their stand all day (well the 4 or 5 times I went to it).

I joined karting and will probably join games soc tomorrow.

Well so far i've joined the Caving club, the Surf 'n' Sail Club, Rock climbing, Cycling and the Canoe club. Tomorrow i'll renew my redbrick account and wonder why i now have so little free time! :P

though I am going to have another look tomorrow, was lookin at Ultimate Frisbee... a m8 does it in DIT and says it is great fun..usually involves gettin drunnk and playing Frisbee.. oh and then murder she wrote...though didnt see that 2day.

I joined redbrick cause ive been told if you do any sort of computery stuff its really handy. thats about it cause i didnt go up till about 4 & there didnt seem to be much about, & nothing that really interested me.

I did hear someone saying that numbers joining today were really low cause of the lack of atms and so lack of money so they'll probably be pretty busy tomorrow

Yea we ran through most of the labs but the only one that we got a decent response in was L101, the rest were either disinterested or didn't know wtf was going on. :rolleyes:

As for me, I didn't technically join anyone. I'm on the committee for both Games Soc and Redbrick so it was all done for me. I'm going to join Karting and AMS at some stage though.

we were watching the pac man dude the other day and thought it would be cool to have a monster game of pacman, get people to dress as the blobs and stuff. run around the grass outside the business school - make a maze. think it'd be cool! also funny.

You can join any club at any time. Just go to the Clubs and Socs room upstairs in the Hub, and the registration point is right there. The girls who work there are lovely, they'll sort you out :cool:
