Just checked Sis for my timetable. Come next week, I'll have 10 hours a week including tutorials.

    :D

    Anyone else happy?#

Edit: Have noticed that there's another 'timetable' thread below, although that seems to be the 'where do i get my timetable' kind.

Just received an e-mail from the School Admin with the timetable. I assume they e-mailed because it was late, as I can't remember being e-mailed the timetable before. Makes it a lot easier to place online now!

27 hours a week in Michaelmas (though it looks like some of the lectures are split), with HT having options.

20 Hours in michaelmas term, no 9am starts, nothing ending later than 5pm.

    Monday: 10-1, 2-4
    Tuesday: 11-1, 2-4
    Wednesday: 11-1, 2-3, 4-5
    Thursday: 10-12, 2-5
    Friday: 11-1

Quite happy with that. Could be better, could be worse.

    24 hours a week
    18 of which are lectures

    I'm mildly happy

Hrm, looking again it seems that Hilary term could be filled with all 9am starts. I have 2 10am starts in MT, with 3 9am ones.

Supposedly on the TCD Portal, though mine hasn't been working for a good while.

    http://isservices.tcd.ie/portal/

(or if you get lost, go to http://www.tcd.ie/local and then under 'IT Support' by the right hand side of the page)

It isn't always accurate either. Wander in by the end of the week to your department.

HaHAH! My timetable has nothing on it. ZERO hours lectures/tutorials this term. Beat that arts! And this is supposed to be the most difficuld year pfft..

    ;)

    Monday 12-3
    Tuesday 10-11, 3-6
    Wednesday 10-12, 2-7
    Thursday 9-10, 11-12, 2-3, 6-7
    Friday 11-12, 3-5, 6-7

22 hours a week, 16 lectures, 6 tutorials. Not too bad, especially since two of those hours are BC so if things are going catastrophically badly they're inessential. But boo-urns huge block on Wednesday afternoon; aside from the fact that 5 consecutive hours of lectures aren't exactly fun, it ****s up frisbee training and various other society **** royally.

Thank christ I wasn't planning on working any evenings this year... :/

I'm pretty pissed. Last year I had four days a week and this year I have six.

6 o clock lecture on a friday. Some people i know have that missing on their timetable cos they forgot to pick that subject - cos they messed up their subject choices - which probably led to confusions in making the timetable - which made 2nd year biz + economics a total mess of a timetable.

is anyone bafled with the science timetable.. Will ir be explained to us by anyone ?

Go meet your tutor, and ask them to explain it, or else go along to the first lecture and ask the lecturer to explain it...

Or find someone who is repeating first year! (though I assume someone kind here will explain it...)

I'll try and grab a copy of it today and see if it make sense to me.

Just some things, you'll need to know what lab you're in, for example., Biology A, Chemistry B, Physics A, you only have 1 lab per week per subject so once you find out you're in Lab A for BIology, scribble out the Lab B and C cos you're not going to them. Sometimes they make the mistake of putting you in 2 labs that clash, it's best to contact the science faculty office or just go to both the labs you can go to and just let them know you had a clash.

Something Like Biology MacN mean the lecture is in the MacNeil Theatre upstairs in the hamilton, GOldsmith or Gold is the goldsmith lecture theatre in GOldsmith on pearse street.

Network and email access are only provided to registered students, IS Services will only deal with students with student cards. For your timetable you can contact your course head/department, they should be able to give you the information.

JF computer science, got 19 hours by the looks of it.

    No 9 o clock starts :D
Only finish at 6 one day :D
