If you're looking for a fairly smart reasonably priced suit check some of the Autograph range in Marks & Spencer or the ones in Zara.

Alternatively TK Maxx can be okay too for designer ones. There was an Armani and a D&G one in there last week for around e400, others such as Duffer of St George are cheaper. It can be awful sometimes though.

Arnotts bargain basement have a good range of suits ranging from 50 to150 Euro. Some nice suits there too, picked up one myself for a wedding! you even get one of those zipper bags free for hanging your suit in the wardrobe.

    PENNEYS - dont laugh.......

I got a suit in Penneys for my sisters wedding. Decent quality too.

Total price was €55. I promise you nobody will know......

Get a decent shirt and tie - try TKMaxx - YSL shirt & Peter Werth tie for €40.

Won't find cheaper IMO and you will be dressed to impress for under a ton.

TKMaxx are good for shoes too. Designer shoes under €50 (you'll pay that in Dunnes).

There's a bunch of mens shops off Liffey St and Mary Street that sell suits.

I bought a black one there for €150 in July and it's already seen two funerals (:() and wedding (:))

Unless your mates are bankers (sp?) any suit that fits you will be fine.

well I always thought what you wear make the person that you are..
May I suggest spend a little bit more on quality stuff because it's gonna last anyway..
You can use it for some other occasion too..
Interview for a job someday, maybe? etc etc

Anyway.. someone else has beat me to it..
I would say mark and spencer.. I got mine for 110 last time..
    Well worth it..
