    can you actually get tax relief if you have to pay fees to repeat a year? heard rumours floating around but it sounds too good to be true.

    Yes you can. Daithai explained this to me a few years ago and I can't remember the details but the jist is you can get about 400 back on the 5000 on taxback. Your parents should do this (unless you happeneed to have spent loads on tax this year).

    Don't know about repeats but if you're doing a masters you can get a massive amount back, up to 40 percent.
