    im just wondering when i watching tv on my hyundai tvhttp://www.xtravision.ie/xvElectrical.asp?id=345

    when the screen turns black you can see the shadow /outline of the last thing or person who was on it

    is that strange
    any way to stop it

    and can you get a vga cable to work with a sky box

    That happens on mine also - it goes after a few nano seconds. As far as I know its normal. Only noticable when screen goes black i.e. between switching channels etc.

    It's known as image retention.
    I had the very same problem and left the TV unplugged overnight and the problem was sorted.
    It's common in all LCD's


    You can afaik get a scart to vga syncblaster in Maplins

    Is that cased by a charge on the screen?

    I know some one who has simliar problem. Just wondering what causes it
