My mother has recently decided to get online cept I can't figure out how to get the (dial up ) modem working on the pc...now I'm illiterate in these matters so I'm wondering where I could find a technician who'd make a house call that could get the machine up and working for her? She's based in Dublin (south side). Would anyone have any ideas?

Ask someone you know who is computer literate to give her a hand - someone from work? A local kid?

If you look for a technician to come out it will cost you a fortune and setting up a modem is a really simple thing to do.
