There's generally a bunch of random things to do throughout the day, there was an inflatible Q-zar thing last year, and a bunch of strange contraptions for flinging you into the air, or racing your mates whilst being pulled backwards by a bungee cord...

No, that was Orientation week, freshers week is all about clubs and socs.

The SU really like to stretch the summer beyond reality, it was something similar last year (and the year before).

Freshers ball is always good craic, everybody (the girls) in all sorts of tropical attire. Most of the lads usually wear a hawaiin shirt and sunglasses

There'll more than likely be a mail sent around on Monday by the SU Pres detailing all the events so you'll know when stuff is on. There'll also be all the posters all over campus. Oh and you don't HAVE to dress up for the Freshesr Ball. *phew*
