    Hi Guys,

My Dad's tv blew up (literally) last week and I have to get him a new one.

The quality of picture - HD etc isnt really all that important, but he's hard of hearing and I was wondering what should I look for in terms of getting a tv with good sound clarity. The sound on the old mitsubishi cheapo with built in speakers was crap and he was always turning the volume up but he still had difficulting 'hearing' -or more accurately - distinguishing dialogue.

Can anyone give me some advice regarding a tv with good sound clarity?

He has NTL digital so he's getting a good signal.
